我が家の REDHAT 9 上では、netatalk 2.0β1 が動いております。さっき、netatalk 2.0β2 を見つけました[cl.cocolog-nifty.com]ので、早速考え無しでビルドしてみましょう。

この手順でやってみました。
Fedora Core 1最小構成にnetatalk2.0β1をインストール[cl.cocolog-nifty.com]

Make sure you have the required Berkeley DB libraries AND headers installed.
You can download the latest version from http://www.sleepcat.com.
If you have installed BDB in a non standard location use the
--with-bdb=/path/to/bdb configure option.

要求する db4 のバージョンが上がっていましたとさ。netatalk 2.0β1 のときは、REDHAT にある、db4-devel-4.0.14-20.i386.rpm で良かったんですけれども。

早速 db4-devel のパッケージを探しているんですが、自 blog サイトが邪魔で検索しづらい。でも、その前に Fedora Core 2 あたりにサクッと入れちゃうかもしれません。
